CLINIC

Pediatric care is provided Monday and Thursday mornings, and by appointment only.

Types of services provided:  eye exams, lab work, health screenings, and sports physicals.

Adult medical services are provided on the following scheduled days and times by appointment only:

Monday - Thursday, 8:00am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

Offices are closed daily from 12:00pm to 1:00pm.

Dental and vision services are scheduled after the patient has seen their main provider first.

Fasting, blood sugar, A1C, UA, and lipids testing can be performed onsite. If more extensive testing is required, patients will be directed to the appropriate outside lab.

Donations are appreciated and encouraged to help offset the Clinic's cost for this service.

​

Partnerships with Lake Granbury Medical Center and Touchstone Imagine provide for diagnostic imaging needed (i.e., X-rays, ultrasound, CT scan, MRI).

Ruth's Place is able to administer flu shots during flu season, when available, during normal operating hours.

We are not currently offering testing or vaccines for Coronavirus or the various COVID strains.

​

Donations are appreciated to help offset the Clinic's cost of the necessary vaccines.

In collaboration with the Moncrief Cancer Institute of Texas Health Resources, we are able to offer clinical breast exams and mammograms.

 

Both agencies assist patients through the process when there is extra testing or treatment after the initial exam.

Ruth's Place is sensitive to the high cost of many prescription medicines, we work hard to prescribe "$4 drugs" offered at local pharmacies, whenever possible. We work with drug manufacturers and humanitarian organizations to obtain them at lower costs for patients who qualify.

Medication samples, including over the counter (OTC) drugs, are securely stored onsite. Donations from the patient are encouraged to help offset the Clinic's cost for this service.
